Frequently asked questions
Who is Fiscanto for?
For businesses that run more than one company or operate in Ireland, Germany and Switzerland. Fiscanto sells to businesses only, so we ask for your VAT number when you book.
Can I start with just one country?
Yes. You book Germany or Switzerland on its own and add more countries when you need them. Existing companies and data stay as they are. The Ireland country pack is planned.
Which modules are available?
Every module on this website carries a label: Available, In pilot or Planned. Planned modules do not have a price yet. See Features for the current overview.
How does the trial work?
You try Fiscanto for 10 days with the available modules you choose. When you sign up you add a payment method; it is verified but not charged during the trial. If you cancel within the trial, there is nothing to pay. Sign-up opens with the pilot.
How do I pay?
By credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or SEPA direct debit, automatically each month or each year. Pay yearly and you pay 10 monthly prices instead of 12. We do not offer subscriptions without automatic payment.
What happens if a payment fails?
We let you know straight away and retry the payment automatically. If the amount has not arrived after 3 days, your account switches to read-only mode: you can still see and export everything, but new documents can only be created and sent once payment is made. As soon as payment arrives, everything is unlocked again. Any late payment costs are set out in the terms.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data belongs to you. For 90 days after the end of the contract you can download a complete export: invoices as PDF, data as CSV and, where booked, the export in DATEV format. After that, archive access costs €3.60 per company per month.
Where is my data stored?
Fiscanto is hosted in the EU. Each customer gets their own instance with its own database. All service providers involved are named in the list of sub-processors, which we publish with the legal documents.
Can my accountant work with me?
Yes. Your accountant gets free accountant access that does not count as a user. They see only the companies you release and collect exports directly.
Can an issued invoice be changed?
No. Once issued, an invoice is locked. Corrections are made with a credit note linked to the original. Number sequences are continuous, PDFs are archived with a checksum and an event log records who did what and when.
